Sat, May 18, 10-4pm     Finishing Techiques with Rona Burke   £35
Learn how the professionals do it! All the techiques you’ll need to get that perfect finish to your handknit projects. Sewing-up, shaping and blocking-out, etc.

Sat, June 1, 2-4pm     Knit and Natter with Rona Burke   £10
Up Country’s regular Saturday knitting club - see above. (Price includes £5 Up Country yarn voucher)

Sat, June 15, 10-4pm     Knit with colour with Rona Burke   £35
How to combine colours in your handknit projects. Basic Fairisle and Intarsia techniques, yarn selection, etc. Train your eye as well as your hands! Rona is a Rowan design consultant and qualified teacher.

Sat, June 15, 12-4pm     Rag Rug - how to with Elizabeth Grubb £  25
In the back workroom. Learn and develop skills needed to create a unique ‘clippie’ rug using recycled fabrics. Tools and fabric provided (See a completed rug on show in the shop).

Fri, Jun 28 12.30-4.40    Felting Jewellery  with Annie Simpson.     £35.
. . And small accessories. Make something small and beautiful 

Sat, Jun 29 12.30-4.40    Felting a silk chiffon scarf with Annie Simpson £35
Make a beautiful accessory. Learn to make and apply felt to a chiffon scarf.   

Sat, July 16, 12-4pm     Rag Rug - how to with Elizabeth Grubb   £25

Sat, Aug 24, time TBC     Intermediate Crochet with Sarah Thornett   £35
A chance to revisit those crochet skills and progress to the next stage. Follows on from the April beginner’s workshop.

All our workshops are held in warm, comfortable surroundings, upstairs at our new shop at 58 Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth.
Numbers are strictly limited and fees are payable when you book. We’ll have all the materials you’ll need, in the shop. We also provide tea, coffee and cakes!
